Night sky

Time has tossed, in bright and scattered being,
a wonder for the night to sure reveal,
in twinkled, sparkled blanket spread; unfurling,
the heavens do a canopy  slow seal.

Earth is wrapped, the edges tucked with grace,
bright canvas holding fast to breath of ages,
with glittered shroud eternal in its place;
receptacle of cosmic, brilliant rages.

Sprawled in diamond, brittle-burst on blackness,
gathered into shapes and distant waves,
torn through aeons, folded through the darkness;
endless life, born from galactic cave.
