Scars

Scars revealed as anger,
woundedness as pain;
so our inner world does speak,
again, again, again.

Remember in the suffering,
it's not the other's fault;
fear and rage are yours alone,
and not for crude assault.

But lashing out at others,
distraction brings for sure;
rejection and resentment,
in futile, unwise cause.
